This is the water glass sand used now. When the sand is cleaned, all the particles are volatilized. In the air, the workshop is full of dust and the environment is very bad. Now, after using the glass sand, the sand is cleared in pieces, no small particles float in the air, and the workshop is clean.

[Text] According to the introduction, the sand used now is a mixture of selected lake sand and water glass. In the implementation of the casting process technology transformation, the company has also increased the production line, and has repeatedly recycled the water glass sand that has been poured to minimize waste discharge.

[Interview] Ren Wuchao, Vice Minister of Casting Second Division of Chongqing Hengyuan Technology Co., Ltd.: If the sand is not recycled, it will be dumped and cause great pollution to the environment. We will establish a production line and treat the old sand. Recycling afterwards is equivalent to reducing emissions. It is estimated that we will reduce emissions by at least 1,000 tons of sand a year.

[Text] At the same time as the technical transformation of the casting process, at present, the company's propeller and adjustable paddle subsequent processing has achieved full CNC, reaching the domestic first-class level. During the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” period, the company will build the largest non-ferrous metal casting base and propeller and adjustable paddle production base in Southwest China in Wanzhou.
